There’s something about handcrafted things that just makes my heart crumble and my arms reach out to touch it. Knowing it was made with careful attention to detail and love that only things made from the heart have. Just glancing at these hand lettered prints by Lisa Congdon, I would absolutely adore having one to hang in the entry, or our bedroom, or the kitchen… or just about anywhere that I’ll see it regularly.
Instead of feeling ready for all that’s about to happen I feel a little like the excitement has passed and all that’s left is the memories. I’d say I have some resolutions, but whenever you use the word resolution in front of some sort of a goal it’s bound to fail. So in 2012 I don’t have any resolutions, but some overall things that I hope to make a reality.
